The chocolate scallop shell (coquille St Jaques) is a French tradition at Easter. They are filled with all sorts of treats, mostly replicas of seafood (fruits de mer) in chocolate and can be found in most bakeries and chocolate shops in the weeks before Easter.
My miniature ones are available in four types of chocolate:
- Milk chocolate
- Dark chocolate
- White chocolate
- Marbled chocolate
